“Small things and matters directs the behavior. Continuous behavior becomes the habit”. Considering this part, Volunteers Community Nepal initiated health and sanitation project considering five school covering 1200 students. Students were enthusiastic and participative in our project. We managed parents and students interaction program as well for the health consciousness behavior. By the help of wash and sanitation knowledge, most of the students were so concerned about the cleanliness of surrounding at the school as well as home. We talked about the importance of pure water and the method of purifying the water as well.
At the same time, we distributed leaflet regarding the health aspect. We were there with the health-workers so we managed to have check-up for those who seem to ill or feeling illness. We promised them to come in closer contact about their healthy and hygienic behavior. We have number of photos about this which we are attaching with this report.
VCN thanks all the supporting hands on this occasion.
With best regards
Volunteers Community Nepal
