We are continuing our fundraising efforts to build and supply libraries for primary-school children. While we are doing that, we help children in as many other ways as we can. On December 25th, we joined with the nonprofit Helping Hand Cambodia to make a Christmas Miracle: a Christmas party for more than 40 children who live in slums in Phnom Penh. We played games and decorated cupcakes, and every child received gifts. Many of these children sell snacks on the streets every day to help support their families. This event gave them a chance to just be kids, have fun, and enjoy the holiday.
On January 18, we celebrated our fourth anniversary. We celebrated the contributions of our trainees, volunteers, and student members, and the graduation of our latest group of trainees from the Our Responsibility Initiative program. Our orgainzation continues to grow.
