I want to share an update with our donors on one of our high school girls, Jenny. She joined high school last year and now she is in form 2 (grade 10). She has been the most disciplined girl in her grade and she is performing averagely well. I was so pleased that she has carried on the teachings she received while staying at the orphanage, even practicing them while in school.
I asked Jenny what she wants to become in future and with a smile on her face she said, "I want to become a nurse." And I thought that would suit her well! She is happy because she can concentrate in her academics without any stress of what to eat in the morning, lunch and evening, because she is not being sent back home due to lack of school fees. Jenny is seeing a bright future ahead, because she has a great support system. She is happy because we all love her and that the stigma related to HIV/AIDs is something of the past for her. Thank you so much for loving Jenny!
