I want to share an update of one of our girls in high school that have benefitted from our orphanage program. Salinda is one of our 5 girls in high school that have an opportunity to continue with her education through high school. She joined our program eleven years ago when she was left with her aging grandmother to take care of them after losing both parents to HIV/AIDs. Life was rough that even getting basic needs was a problem not to talk of furthering her education life carrier. Salinda and her sister (Jenny) found refuge and a safe home at Restoring Hopes Ministry orphanage.
It's with joy and pride that we see her bright face every single day and that we know that her life has improved from the worst to good as she can now comfortably have basic needs, and she is able to attend school and that her dream of becoming a nurse is still valid as tomorrow. We are able to meet her high school fees through the proceeds that we have in our garden project, and the sustainability that AFCA supports.
Salinda is a well-mannered girl that has shown respect and discipline to her fellow students and also the workers we have helping in our ministry. With her polite face she is able to lead by good example to her fellow students at the orphanage. Once again that you for working and walking with Restoring Hopes Ministry to put a smile in the face of Salinda.
