Good Cause Foundation Uganda believes that children should have the opportunity to learn without the burden of hunger. Unfortunately, vulnerable children in rural and underserved communities may attend school without adequate meals, making it difficult for them to concentrate and participate fully in their education.
Our school feeding project will establish and strengthen sustainable feeding programs in vulnerable schools across Uganda. The initiative will provide nutritious breakfasts and lunches prepared using locally sourced food.
The project is designed not simply as an emergency response to hunger, but as a sustainable approach that connects children's nutrition with education and local livelihoods.
Objectives:
With your support, a child can enter the classroom having eaten, remain at school throughout the day and participate more fully in learning.
Your contribution can help turn an empty stomach into renewed energy, a difficult school day into a productive one, and a vulnerable child's educational journey into one filled with hope.
