When Hunger Leaves, Hope Enters

There is something beautiful about seeing a child arrive at school with excitement, ready to learn, play, make friends, and dream about the future.

But for a child who is hungry, the school day can feel very different.

Instead of concentrating on the teacher's lesson, the child may be thinking about food. Instead of participating actively, they may feel weak and tired. Instead of enjoying school, they may simply be waiting for the day to end.

This is why school feeding is so important to the children we serve.

At Good Cause Foundation Uganda, we believe that no child should have to learn while carrying the heavy burden of hunger.
