For many children attending rural schools in Uganda, the school day begins with an empty stomach. Some walk long distances to school without having eaten breakfast, and by the time lessons begin, hunger may already be affecting their concentration and energy.
By providing breakfast and lunch at school, we can help children remain active and engaged throughout the school day. A nutritious meal gives children the energy to participate in lessons, interact with their classmates, take part in school activities, and continue learning with greater confidence.
Our goal is to help vulnerable children receive regular meals while they are at school. We believe that education should not be separated from the basic needs of children. A child who is hungry needs food just as much as they need books, pens, uniforms, and a safe learning environment.
Your contribution can help us purchase food, prepare meals, and serve children during the school day. Every contribution can make a difference when caring donors come together to support children.
Help us make breakfast and lunch part of a child's school day. Your generosity can nourish a child today while supporting their education and future tomorrow.
