The #GlobalOP team has been in the field this month on expedition-style missions throughout remote access Himalayas. What often involves a 5-8 hour jeep journey on windy mountain roads, followed by a 3-hour trek just to reach our destination, is not for the faint of heart. Check out the amazing work the team has accomplished this month!
Self-Defense Workshop:
Young Professionals Board Members Tim Bearden and Kate Green accepted the adventure to travel for more than 24 hours to Nepal in order to teach Gracie Jiu-jitsu self-defense to the girls who are at most risk of being abducted into the sex trade industry. Read the blog!
School Dormitory Updates:
The team has been on the ground in Nuwakot Nepal conducting assessments, meeting with partners, and consulting with architects to move things forward with our dormitory project. Hear from boots-on-the-ground founder Katie Hilborn outlining the vision!
