A meeting of the community of the village was held and decisions were made to start the construction of the school. Community decided to participate in the construction with free labour and donating cash and kind. Local masons were mobilized to work on minimum rates. The participants were told about the contribution of donors across the world that is so kind to support the community of village to get quality education for their children. A steering committee comprising of community elders, masons, teachers and parents was formed. This committee will support in smooth running of construction activities. This committee will collect donation in kind like cement, bricks, sand etc. and register the community members who are willing to labour work.
Fortunately monsoon is not severe till now and hill torrents are under control. This has given well time to construct new building without compromising the education of the children. The community has unanimous voice, “These are our children and we are responsible to make their future bright”
