Gray's Creek youth connect with Indonesian students across the miles
The first-graders looked startled Friday morning when they learned their new friends go to school six days a week, not five.
Ten thousand miles away, a group of Indonesian children grinned at the Alderman Road Elementary School students over a Skype connection and answered questions about other aspects of their lives, like fasting all day during the Muslim holiday of Ramadan and how there are just two seasons of the year - dry and wet.
