"My Hope for the Future Keeps Building"

By Karen Sparacio | Project Leader

Daniel
Daniel

“My hope for the future keeps on building each and every day.” These powerful words are quietly spoken by Daniel. Daniel was sleeping on the streets in Northern Uganda when Project Have Hope first started sponsoring him in school 8 years ago. Daniel is now 17 years old and has only one year left before he will complete the equivalent of high school.

Daniel is just one of 92 children we are sponsoring.

When given the opportunity to study, these children are given the gift to dream, and to dream big. What’s the saying? Dream big or go home. Well, these children know how to dream big. These children dream of becoming engineers and doctors. These children dream of making a difference in the lives of their families and of those in need. These children want to make the world a better place.

These children don’t dream of buying the latest gadget or owning a car. These children dream of being well-fed and having a bed to sleep in at night.

Won’t you help to make a difference in their lives? Won’t you empower them to dream big and give them the tools to turn those dreams into an authentic future.

We believe that with hope, a lot of hard work, and the generosity of donors like you, these children can, and will, build a better future. These children will become valuable, contributing members within their community. These children will help others in need, just as you have helped them.

Children, like Daniel, were born into their circumstances of poverty, displacement, and futures as hard laborers.  We are changing that.  You can help.  Just $10 provides rquirements for a student.  $100 provides tuition for one term.  Consider giving the gift, the opportunity, of education to a child who would not otherwise have it.
