Term 2 Begins May 19th

By Karen Sparacio | Project Leader

In January, we successfully enrolled 92 children into school for the start of the 2014 academic year.  But that was only the first hurdle.  May 19th marks the beginning of term two.  And with the new term, the second round of school fees, totaling $15,000, is due.  We need your help!

Children, like Steven, are depending on us.  Steven lives with his grandmother who supports the family by selling charcoal. Steven has suffered from an illness since he was a small child, which has left his left leg partially lame. Recently, he underwent a procedure which has greatly improved his physical ability. He is a talented artist and is proud to be recognized by his teachers for his skill. “I am so happy to be in school where I get appreciated for my skills in fine art because I draw really good pictures. It's really encouraging.”

Consider this Mother's Day honoring your mother with the gift of sponsoring a child's education.  For just $10 you can make a difference, while also receiving a hand-crafted paper bead bracelet to give as a gift.
