Meet Rose.
Rose lives with her brother, sister, eight cousins and aunt and uncle. Her mother died of cancer and her father is not around. Her aunt sells charcoal and makes paper bead jewelry to help support the family.
Rose enjoys English and math and likes to read in her free time. She also helps the family by cleaning the compound of their home and mopping. She dreams of becoming a doctor so she can help others.
School fees are often prohibitively high for families in Uganda's Acholi Quarter making sponsorship imperative so children can receive even a very basic education.
For just $10 a month you can empower Rose to build a better future and pursue dreams that would otherwise be unattainable.
