From Child to Graduate, a Limitless Future

By Karen Sparacio | Project Leader

“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.”  ~ Malcolm X

Mercy's father died when she was still very young. Her mother was unable to afford the school fees for Mercy and her younger brother. Through the generosity of sponsors, Project Have Hope stepped in and enrolled Mercy into school. A diligent student, Mercy forged ahead with her studies despite challenges. As she grew older and more confident, she chose to pursue a degree in hotel management. She graduated with honors this fall and is working as a chef with the African leadership and reconciliation ministry's guest house. She hopes one day to open her own restaurant.

Will you join us and sponsor a child so she will have the opportunity to realize her dreams?  For just $10 a month, you can join us in making education a reality for other young scholars.
