Due to the escalating south Sudanese civil war, some children without parents fled to Uganda for safety and get an education.
In September alone in Kampala, 100 exile kids requested HopeOfiriha to pay their fees for them go to a boarding school. Due to lack of extra resources, their request was rejected.
On pending list, 1500 orphans in refugee settlement camps in northern Uganda are waiting for your help to go school. The war and imminent famine separated these kids from the parents. These kids are not in school.
In this reporting September 2017:
With money from Trolltech Foundation and your cash, we are continuing to pay fees to keep 20 pupils in a kindergarten in the central region and a boarding school in northern Uganda. These twenty children had been with us since 2016. We hope to add more children in 2018 when the extra cash becomes available.
In the last quarter, we will be posting you a new field update to inform you about the positive impact your gift is creating in transforming the life of exiled orphans in Uganda.
