Thanks for your continued support to sponsor children in Uganda.
Hope Ofiriha had supported refugee children from Magwi County South Sudan, who are living in Kampala since Sudanese longest conflict in Africa that ended in 2005.
When the recent conflict broke out in 2013 in Juba, we started to sponsor Dinka, and Nuer children who escaped to Uganda due to instability in Jonglei and Upper Nile states. These children approached Hope Ofiriha to help.
Presently, we are not able to help because the current global slowdown made our corporate donors to stop temporarily funding until the world crisis improves.
Also, the sponsoring families from oversea had cancelled their contract citing inflation had an adverse impact on their incomes. They will continue to assist when the depression improves. The project does not has the fund to send several children to school.
Our strategy is to help each child per family and from a different part of a country. We do this to expand the educational development across the country and societies.
With pressures, we are paying fees to keep two children at school due to shortages of sufficient cash flow.
When you get this report, please know that your generosity makes a huge difference in the lives of the children we serve.
After three months a new field update be posted, so you get to know what impact your contribution.
