In this December 2017 reporting:
With your money and funding from other donors, we are paying the school fees of 20 students. Three children go to a kindergarten, 6 attend primary school, 10 completed their secondary education in 2017, and due to sickness a girl dropped her studies.
In a next three months, HopeOfiriha will be posting a new field update to report to you the positive impact your contribution is offering an education to refugee children.
Sponsor A child this Christmas!
In 2015, the rebel killed my father in South Sudan. I fled into Uganda, and I was sent to live with my grandmother, who was sick in a refugee camp, in northern Uganda. We struggled to survive.
I would come to town and look for the rice that had fallen on the ground and collect it. However, some days, I had to stay home to take care of my grandmother. On these Christmas days, I did not eat well.
My grandmother mother wanted me to get married. She felt a man might bring more food into the home. I was only 18 years old.
However, Instead of being forced into a child marriage, HopeOfiriha gave me an education and food. Before thhis, I did not even know how I can help from.
Partner, will you sponsor children like me by giving a year-end donation today?
