The Agrosolidaria Charalá team thanks all the entities and people who have joined the "Saving the last Black Oak forests in Colombia" campaign, which has allowed us to inject new energy and actions after what the impact of the pandemic meant in usual activities.
Thanks to your generous donations, we have resumed environmental education actions in the area, aimed at raising awareness about the species of flora and fauna that inhabit the territory and depend on the oak forests, thus building a community vision of the territory we inhabit. in which people have opportunities to improve their quality of life in harmony with the conservation of the environment. We were also able to add resources to these strategies supported by co-financing projects to provide our forest and amphibian monitoring teams with tools such as binoculars, radio telephones, stereoscopes, weather stations, magnifying glasses, flashlights, among other tools that facilitate and improve data collection. .
There is still a long way to go to achieve our goals, but we are moving forward hand in hand with all of you. We are about to officially launch the BIOFORO Oak Community Museum in the Alto Río Fonce, to consolidate a center for research, training, entertainment and conservation in the territory that raises awareness about species and culture among children, youth and adults. peasants from the area, as well as visitors and researchers who come to rediscover this territory.
Thank you all, we wish you a great 2022 and we will be in touch with new news.
