With summer in full swing, our Clubs are busy from 7:30am-7:30pm. From Cooking Camp to Adventure Camp, along with many others, there is something for everyone!
Back by popular demand, Science Camp has been active this summer! Campers have learned about liquids, solids, and gases, including inflating balloons from the gas released from a vinegar and baking soda mixture. Campers also grew borax crystals, as well as sugar crystals. The sugar crystals were edible and are commonly known as "rock candy". Creating a papier-mache replica of the Earth also engaged campers, as did video clips from Bill Nye The Science Guy. Topping off Science Camp was the creation of volcanoes, including learning how to make them erupt with red lava!
Thank you to all of our donors who are making these fun, educational camps a reality for our Club Members!
