As the humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues, thousands of displaced families are still struggling to secure food, clean drinking water, essential medical supplies, and basic nutrition for their children. For families who have lost their homes and livelihoods, meeting even the simplest daily needs remains an enormous challenge.
At Salam Humanitarian Foundation (SHF), we remain committed to supporting vulnerable families, particularly infants, young children, and displaced households facing severe hardship.
One example of our humanitarian engagement is the "Helping Gaza's Children" initiative, previously implemented in cooperation with the Gaza Association for Agriculture and Environment (SAFE). Through this initiative in 2025, essential infant formula was distributed to vulnerable children living in displacement camps in Gaza. This experience demonstrated how collaboration with trusted local partners can turn solidarity into practical assistance for families in need.
Our appeal on GlobalGiving continues to mobilize support for emergency food assistance, clean water, and essential humanitarian supplies. However, the scale of the needs remains far greater than the resources available. Additional contributions are vital to help us strengthen future interventions and reach more vulnerable families through appropriate local partnerships.
