Urgent Appeal: Support Gaza Amid Humanitarian Cris

Over the past months, the Salam Humanitarian Foundation has continued its commitment to saving lives and bringing relief to people in Palestine who are facing one of the most difficult humanitarian crises in recent years. The campaign “Saving Lives in Palestine” was launched with the goal of providing emergency medical assistance, food parcels, and psychosocial support to families and children affected by the ongoing conflict.

Despite our outreach and tireless efforts, the total amount raised so far has reached only $365.5. This amount, while appreciated, is unfortunately insufficient to initiate the planned interventions or to respond effectively to the growing needs on the ground. The situation in Gaza and other affected areas remains extremely dire — hospitals are overwhelmed, basic medicines are unavailable, and thousands of families are struggling every day to survive without adequate medical care or food security.

Through this campaign, we aimed to deliver essential medical supplies such as first-aid kits, wound-care materials, antibiotics, and trauma medicines. We also planned to support mobile health units capable of reaching remote communities and delivering emergency treatment to those unable to access hospitals. Additionally, part of the campaign’s design was to provide nutritional support to children and pregnant women and to offer psychosocial first aid to families suffering from displacement and trauma.

However, due to the limited financial resources collected so far, we were unable to initiate these critical activities. The raised funds have been reserved transparently in our donation account until we can secure enough contributions to begin implementation according to our humanitarian standards and accountability commitments. Every dollar donated through GlobalGiving is tracked, and our Foundation ensures full financial transparency and regular reporting to our supporters and partners.
