Saving Ile a Vache

A message from Vital

My name is Vital Pierre Felix, the manager of the seawall project. I want to thank you very much for your helping the people of Ile a Vache, Haiti.

I have already used the $485 you raised for the project to buy rocks. Yet, we still need a lot more loads of rocks as well as sand, cement and rebar. These materials are all very expensive now in Haiti and there is not much we can do without them.

We appreciate you so much for helping us on the island to try to save lives by building up the road before the next hurricane hits. The sea continues to cross the road all the time, and if we do have a big hurricane come through us again it will be crazy, dangerous and possible deadly for everyone here on the island.

Thank you so much to everyone who are willing to help me and to the people who already helped, and to the wonderful team of GlobalGiving.

Please take this gratitude letter in consideration. I know there are many organizations asking for your help and I appreciate even a small gift to help me save our island.
