Thanks to all of you who contributed to the “Save This Forest, Save This Family” project, we were able to pay the Monge family this past weekend the check for $720 to cover “payments for environmental services” to conserve this exquisite 12 hectare forest on the shores of Lake Arenal.
I have been anxious to take this photo and share it with you. The San Luis forest is being preserved and working to clean our Earth’s atmosphere for 2011 because of you. As a result of the project being funded Mariano already has people requesting a walk through the only forest tract left in the community of San Luis.
