Dear Supporters,
Thanks to your generous support, children in remote rural communities are receiving timely nutrition, medical care, and the chance to grow up healthy. For many families, access to nutritious food, healthcare, and early childhood services is limited. Your support ensures that children receive help when they need it most.
One such child is Divyanshi, from a rural village in southern Rajasthan. In 2023, when she was just one year old, she was identified through Seva Mandir's community nutrition survey as severely malnourished. She was underweight, physically weak, and had very little appetite.
With your support, Divyanshi was enrolled at our Day Care Centre (Balwadi), where she received nutritious daily meals, regular growth monitoring, and early childhood care. She was also referred to the Malnutrition Treatment Centre for medical care, while her family received regular guidance on nutrition, hygiene, and caring for her at home using affordable, locally available foods.
Today, at four years old, Divyanshi is healthy, active, and full of confidence. She weighs 11.6 kg, attends the centre regularly, and loves learning and playing with her friends. Her remarkable recovery shows how timely care, proper nutrition, and family support can change a child's life.
Thank you for making transformations like Divyanshi's possible.
With gratitude,
Team Seva Mandir
