To complement our work tackling pirate fishing in Sierra Leone, EJF has implimented a School Nature Club in the Sherbro River area. The initiative aims to educate local communities on ways to ensure that fisheries resources are sustainably managed. The club learn about the value of protecting the different types of wildlife and habitat in their area, particularly the importance of mangrove habitats on marine eco-sytems.
