Dear Friends,
Last October 24, a business collaboration was pronounced between Horologium, S. A de C. V, (Mexico´s Breilting Distributor) and FMCN with the aim of raising funds for the "Project for the recovery of golden eagle populations and their habitat in Mexico." A fundraising event took place at the Rufino Tamayo Museum to announce this alliance.
During the event, a silent auction of 10 original sketches of the golden eagle made by the Oaxacan artist Francisco Toledo where donated exclusively for the project. With the auction of these sketches, along with the clock number 1 of the 250 limited edition "Aguila Real Mexicana" a total of $ 347,000.00 pesos were raised. The rest of the watches are for sale to the general public and a generous percentage of the sale price will go directly to the project.
The valuable contribution of Horologium and Francisco Toledo, reflect not only an innovative fundraising for conservation, but also a new platform to spread the message of the critical situation of the golden eagle in Mexico. The money raised in the auction will go to support monitoring actions in the state of Zacatecas where a significant population of golden eagle is located.
Thanks to Breitling, Francisco Toledo, Citi Express, other donors and to you for being part of this great cause!
Have a great holiday!
