Distribution of uniforms, materials and clothes

By ARISTIDE NYOMBAYIRE | Production Manager

Distribution of uniforms, school materials and clothes

In Nyanza town, street children left their families! They drop out of school, sleeping in the bridges and feeding them from begging and eating leftover food. They had a bad life!

Among the children are orphans, other they come from poor families, conflicting parents, some their parents are addicted to drugs and give up the responsibility of caring for their children. Other children drop out of school due to family poverty, including poverty due to COVID-19

The $ 15 donation we received and the support of donor Bulak family and their partners, we distribute 100 uniforms to 100 children, school materials like  notebooks, pens, bags, shoes and clothing and hygiene items (soaps, Jelly, dental hygiene items etc.) for 112 children.

One of the children called Japhet who dropped out of school and wandered the streets and we gave him school materials and returned to school, said: Thank you very much. When we asked him about his dream he told us that he will going to study hard and he would be a great soldier!

We are very grateful to the donors who sponsored this project, and we ask others to donate to this project to promote stay in school and decrease dropout rates in Nyanza District.

Thank you for your kindness.
