Although Melanoma Awareness Month has passed, our collective commitment to discovery that will help end death and suffering due to melanoma remains unwavering. Over the past two decades, the Melanoma Research Alliance has proudly supported 17 groundbreaking treatments—but too many patients still need help.
At a time when critical medical research funding is being cut, MRA launched the SPF Initiative Save Protect Fund to address underfunded melanoma research and other urgent unmet needs. Since May, MRA has raised an additional $25,393.06, bringing the total to $75,393.06 dedicated directly to advancing melanoma research. Thanks to the continued generosity of an anonymous donor, these funds were matched dollar for dollar—doubling the impact to $150,786.12 in support of our mission to find a cure.
