Hello, Trees to the Sea supporter!
We have been exstatic these last few weeks as the rain has brought us a ton of help for keeping our Trees to the Sea alive and well for one more year. As a result of the rain we are expecting tremendous growth in the coming months. With that in mind weeding, mulching and litter removal will be our top priorities to get our trees in tip-top shape to prepare for next year's dry season.
Since our last report, on October 25th, 2014 we organized our 2nd Annual Make a Difference Day. Tree Musketeers Youth Managers, Planting Supervisors and Adult Partners alongside volunteers took part in Make a Difference Day and it was a wonderful success.
Over 100 'Tall and Small' volunteers came out to care for our Trees to the Sea along Imperial Highway, participating in a clean-up competition and collecting 99 bags of trash and invasive plants.
Feel free to take a look at the great work our volunteers accomplished at our online photo gallery!
Thanks again and we look forward to your continued support in the new year!
Treely Yours,
Sam, Lina, Talia, Raquel, Utsa & Fernando
