The project has been fully funded.
Our medical activity at sea on board of the Italian Navy ships lasted almost 5 years. 250 highly specialized medical volunteers were dedicated to this project: anesthesiologists, gynecologists, pediatricians, infectivologists, internal medicine and emergency doctors, midwives, intensive therapy nurses, for a total of almost 1500 man/days. The current situation in the Mediterranean does not require our medical teams to be deployed, but we continue to assist mothers and children with several projects on the Italian territory.
We are thankful to our GlobalGiving donors for their generous support. Please continue to follow our work in Italy and Central and South America through our website!
