In northern Gaza, the water crisis is no longer just a humanitarian challenge—it has become one of the most serious threats to the lives of hundreds of thousands of civilians. With damaged water networks, severe fuel shortages preventing wells from operating, and widespread contamination of water sources, thousands of displaced families struggle every day to find safe drinking water, especially in overcrowded displacement camps that lack even the most basic necessities.
For this reason, our intervention through the distribution of clean drinking water has become an urgent humanitarian response aimed at protecting lives and reducing the spread of waterborne diseases, including acute diarrhea and skin infections, which pose a particularly serious risk to children, the elderly, and people with chronic illnesses.
Delivering clean water by tanker trucks to displacement camps means far more than providing drinking water. It enables families to prepare meals, make infant formula, and maintain basic hygiene, all of which have a direct impact on their health, safety, and dignity. Under the extremely difficult conditions in northern Gaza, every drop of clean water represents hope and a chance for survival.
At Amal Alumma Organization, we believe that access to clean water is a fundamental human right. That is why we continue implementing water distribution campaigns in the hardest-hit areas, prioritizing displaced families, orphans, children, and other vulnerable groups to ensure this essential resource reaches those who need it most.
The continuation of these life-saving efforts depends greatly on the generosity of our donors and humanitarian partners. Every contribution helps deliver more clean water to families struggling to survive. Together, we can save lives, ease suffering, and restore hope to the people of northern Gaza during one of the most difficult humanitarian crises they have ever faced.
