For 50 years the Myanmar generals have oppressed minorities, stealing land, burning villages, driving families to the borders. Refugees live in camps in eastern Thailand. China Cal has partnered with the Mae Tao Clinic, Burma Children's Fund and with refugee schools to find and treat children with heart disease. In 2020, China Cal will screen the hearts of 10000 Burmese refugee children and proved support for surgeries for those found with heart disease. We need your help.
For 50 years the Myanmar generals have oppressed minority citizens, stealing their land, burning their villages, driving them to the borders and out of their homeland. The government denies them education and healthcare. Those that manage to escape to the border town of Mae Sot, Thailand find help at NGO run schools. These refugees live in camps and hidden in the hills of eastern Thailand. Their children suffer more frequently from untreated heart disease. They need your help.
Due to the primitive conditions imposed on Burmese farmers and refugees, heart disease is much more prevalent among their children. In 2020, China Cal will screen the hearts of ten thousand Burmese refugee school children and find support for surgical cures for all those found with heart disease. We need your help now. Please donate to this project now.
This project will greatly diminish deaths and disability from congenital and rheumatic heart disease among Burmese refugees.
