More surgeries for Isabela On this occasion, Dr. Hillary and Dr. Anne led another spay/neuter campaign on Isabela island. They were able to provide 51 sterilization surgeries for dogs and cats in the town. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and volunteers we could offer internal and external dewormer to dogs living in the highlands of Isabela.
About 30 dogs from different families received the dewormer, some others received antibiotics and pain killers as well. We understand that distances between farms and AB’s clinic are long, and taking a taxi can be very expensive, however, our incredible partners, ABG, are always keen to help move dogs and cats from their houses to our building to be sterilized.
We always have the support of IOI and their volunteers who respect animals and people. We have created a strong team that loves Galapagos and this love moves us to keep working for the conservation of this paradise.

Más cirugías en Isabela En esta ocasión las veterinarias Dra. Hillary y Dra. Anne lideraron una nueva campaña de esterilización en Isabela ofreciendo 51 cirugías para perros y gatos del lugar. Gracias a la generosidad de nuestros donantes y voluntarios pudimos organizar una pequeña brigada de desparasitación interna y externa para los perros que viven en la zona agrícola de Isabela.
Alrededor de 30 perros de diferentes familias recibieron desparasitante interno y externo y algunos otros también recibieron antibióticos y analgésicos. Las distancias entre las fincas o granjas donde algunos perros y gatos viven y la clínica de Animal Balance son largas, tomar un taxi puede ser bastante caro, sin embargo, nuestros aliados de la ABG están siempre dispuestos a ayudar a transportar gatos y perros desde sus hogares hacia nuestra clínica para ser esterilizados. Igualmente contamos con el apoyo de la fundación IOI y sus voluntarios que aman los animales y las personas. Hemos consolidado un equipo poderoso que ama Galápagos y este amor nos fortalece para seguir trabajando por la conservación de este maravilloso paraíso.
