Seven of the TLF alumni have started a new journey with Javara. Under the Seniman Pangan (food artisan) program, they are undergoing a two year long paid internship to become farmpreneurs. This program is to develop premium processed food.
This program is located in Bekasi. At the first stage, our alumni started to make planting beds. They did everything from scratch, just like what they’d learned at TLF.
They are planting a variety of vegetations that will be used as the main ingredients in their products such as ginger, chilly, vegetables and fruits like mango and pineapple.
The processed food are varieties of jam, sambal (spicy seasoning), and dried fruit. As they evolve in their learning, Javara is planning to establish an organic restaurant at the facility in Bekasi which will be supplied by the product produce at farm. They will share the profits with Javara.
It is a big step towards their success. Thank you Javara for trusting these youth and training them to become Seniman Pangan.
