The Learning Farm (TLF) recently hosted an event called “Gelar Griya” to introduce its programs and strengthen connections with the surrounding community. The event began with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, featuring drinks and traditional snacks made from the farm’s own organic produce—such as boiled bananas and sweet potatoes. Guests were then invited to a presentation about TLF’s mission and activities, followed by a guided farm tour.
The tour, led by current students, became one of the highlights of the event. As they introduced the farm’s facilities and shared the training process, the students demonstrated confidence and pride in their learning journey. It was a meaningful opportunity for them to apply their communication and leadership skills in a real-world setting, engaging directly with members of the public.
The event was met with enthusiastic response from visitors, many of whom expressed interest in enrolling their children or relatives at TLF. Given the positive impact, “Gelar Griya” is now envisioned as a regular tradition held at the end of each training cycle. It serves not only to celebrate student growth but also to foster stronger ties with the local community and broaden awareness of TLF’s mission.
