The Learning Farm (TLF) held a "Gelar Griya" event to introduce TLF’s programs to the surrounding community. The purpose of this event was to raise awareness of TLF among potential students, partners, volunteers, and donors, and to foster stronger ties with the local community.
The event began with a warm reception for guests, offering beverages and local TLF farm-based snacks, such as boiled bananas and sweet potatoes. This was followed by a presentation on TLF’s programs and a farm tour, providing an introduction to the facilities and training processes at TLF. The event concluded with a friendly gathering, creating an atmosphere of connection between guests and organizers.
Visitor enthusiasm was evident in the many discussions and questions that followed. Some community members expressed interest in enrolling their children or relatives as students at TLF. Gelar Griya successfully opened the door for the local community to get to know TLF better, while also enhancing the potential for support to create a significant impact in the fields of agriculture and youth development in Indonesia.
