The coronavirus outbreak has infected in many countries around the world, including Indonesia. This situation implicated to our programs where we are now strictly implementing a ‘no guest policy.’ We regularly invite the individual, institutions, and organisations to participate at The Learning Farm, however, due to the coronavirus outbreak, we then decided to postpone the volunteers and visitors coming. This is a difficult decision to make, but we want to protect our loved ones.
The social impact of the coronavirus outbreak is significant. Many people out there are consuming the news without exact resources so that there are many versions of coronavirus definitions. To address this situation, we educate the students and make some precaution strategies such as socialise coronavirus based on World Health Organisation reference, involve students to clean the environment and encourage them to wash their hands frequently. These activities are helping students to be more aware to protect themselves in these trying times.
In addition, we make some mini sports competitions for students to help them maintain their worried and mental health. We invite the students to participate in some sports activities for instance volleyball, table tennis, and football. They are excited and enthusiastic to be the best for their team.
