Dear GlobalGiving donors and supporter,
Meet Shalom, a beautiful 4-month-old baby girl from Nigeria. Born full of hope and promise, she was diagnosed with a severe liver condition that is rapidly worsening. Nigerian doctors have confirmed the urgent reality: without a liver transplant, Shalom may not survive.
Her only chance lies in specialized pediatric surgery at Apollo Hospitals in India, one of the world’s leading centers for liver transplants in very young infants. Apollo has a proven track record of successfully performing these complex procedures even on babies as young as Shalom.
How your gift will making a difference
Your generous donations are going directly toward:
*The life-saving liver transplant surgery
Pre-transplant evaluation and medical preparation
*Hospitalization and intensive care
*Travel and accommodation for Shalom and her mother/caregiver
*Critical post-transplant medications and follow-up care
At just four months old, Shalom has barely begun her life. With successful treatment, she can grow up strong, return home to Nigeria, and experience the milestones, smiles, and love every child deserves.
Why this matters
Apollo Hospitals’ expertise with pediatric liver transplants offers real hope. Your support is helping turn a desperate medical emergency into a story of healing and a brighter future for this innocent little girl and her family.
Thank you for standing with Shalom. Every contribution brings her closer to the surgery she urgently needs. Together, we can give her the chance to thrive.
With deep gratitude,
Gratitude Global Assembly
