Dear friends,
Thank you for your commitment and your generous donation. The Darfur Women Network is blessed to have committed supporters like you and to have a great partner like Global Giving to work collectively to make difference. As, we promised on our last report on December 23, 2014, to share with you our plan and progress to stay updated. We will appreciate if you provide us with your feedback, your suggestions, and your recommendations.
To provide an excellent education to 11th grade to equip them to secure high in real SAT, we decided to bring SAT teachers from credible educational organization. So, the DWN, the Principal and Vice Principal of MTI School of Knowledge met and decided that we need to work collectively to implement the SAT by teachers who have tremendous experience in SAT prep.
Our students will learn critical reading and thinking, math, writing, and time management. They will feel confidence by having equal opportunity as those who are able to attend SAT prep at creditable education organization or institute to score high in SAT and secure their desired college and future career. To achieve our academic goal, we need to raise not less than $4000.
On Sunday, March 15th, I will meet with the MTI School of Knowledge Parents Teachers Organization, MTIPTO, to discuss the strategy and to create action plan for fundraising to achieve our goal.
The DWN was asked by some parents to continue providing education for 8th, 9th, and 10th grade to provide tutoring in English, Biology, and Math to help them to perform well.
The DWN will continue with supporting students academically by requesting volunteers to teach those who are in need of academic support to strength themselves. We need your feedback, recommendation, suggestion, and support to make a difference.
