Dear Friends and Family,
As the Coronavirus pandemic rages on, I hope that this note finds you and your loved ones keeping safe, healthy, and well.
SHRI continues taking precautions to ensure safety for our beneficiaries and staff in India. Social distancing guidelines are still in place at all of our facilities in both Bihar and Jharkhand, and we are limiting the number of people who can be inside our facilities at any given time. Furthermore, we have instituted strict guidelines that ensure one household gets the same water jug as part of our water service.
The pandemic has certainly impeded our plans to scale our services this year. Yet, we understand just how important it is to not put anyone's health at risk by building new facilities in new locations. As such, we will remain patient and resume constructing new sites once it is safe.
Again, I hope that you all continue staying safe amidst this pandemic. I look forward to updating you all again soon.
