Young boy Pawan gets help from our Karnataka Eye Hospitals
Pawan, student of 7th standard, found of attending school had to miss his studies for a couple of months. An eye injury caused by playing his favourite game Tipcat deteriorated his vision and stopped him from attending his school.
13 year old Pawan, was immediately taken to different eye hospitals to save his vision. Pawan was diagnosed to have a Retina injury and Cataract. He underwent treatment but found no improvement in his vision.
Parent of 4 children, Bhytarayappa and Devamma earns a meagre from their petty shop. They had lost hopes and could do little to help their son. During this period, they heard about Sankara’s camp at Mangalawada. Pawan and parents attended the camp and travelled to base hospital for treatment.
Cataract operation was performed on his left eye on 28 Nov ’13 and he could now feel the difference in his vision. Parents thanked Sankara for giving a new lease of life to their son.
“We feel blessed coming to Sankara Eye Hospital. My son’s eye problem was not solved anywhere but could find some solace here. Truly a divine place” says Devamma, wiping her tears of joy.
Bhytarayappa and Devamma looking forward to educate Pawan thanks Sankara immensely.
