On this significant occasion of Women's Day, Salaam Baalak Trust proudly inaugurated Udaan Children Home, a newly established safe haven for young girls aged 5 to 18 years. This milestone marks a crucial step towards providing a nurturing and protective environment for vulnerable children in need of shelter, care, and support.
About Udaan Children Home
Udaan Children Home was initially located in Kamla Nagar but has now been relocated to Dilshad Garden with the support of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). The facility has been entrusted to Salaam Baalak Trust for its management and operations. Designed to offer a secure and enriching environment, the home provides young girls with access to education, healthcare, emotional support, and opportunities to develop essential life skills.
