Hello Everyone,
We are so happy to report that the Local for the seed library has been completed and now if fully functional.
Mr. Ouefgha, the project manager in the countryside, has successfully conditionned so far about 30 rare grains from a pool of 189. These grains are now fully adapted to dry conditions and are being distributed/exchanged with the network of the farmers.
This initiative is certainly small, but its impact and the potential it has to grow are certainly very important and big on the long run. The pictures below show the progress we have been able to achieve and we project to continue creating small but steady and sustainalbe ripples in the resitance to commercial grains in a dry-region of the country to poor farmers with smallhold farms.
Our commitment is to ecologically sustainable agriculture. Thank you to all of our donors for making this possible.
