Our new annual report for 2015-16 showcases our recent progress on this project, and all of our other work in Mexico and Central America.

Last year, EcoLogic:

Empowered 154 rural and indigenous communities to restore and protect tropical ecosystems
Conducted 154 workshops, trainings, and learning exchanges
empowerd 3,117 people to protect and restore ecosystems
Protected 1,982 acres of forest
Involved 690 inviduals in sustainable income-generating activity
Generated more than $200,000 through these activities for rural and indigenous groups
Installed 828 fuel-efficient stoves
Trained 515 farmers on agroforestry system setup and maintenenace
Established 210 acres of agroforestry systems
Planted over 250,000 trees
Reforested 684 acres of land
