In the last report, we shared how children and families enrolled in our programs are role models/leaders and entrepreneurs and this continues to be the case. In addition, a few older children, who have graduated high school, come back to lead workshops for younger children.
Our "Safe Park" program is open to all children from the community, and families look forward to Saturday or "Safe Park" mornings. The children have a safe space to play and interact with peers and older children and adults, while they watch their children learn and play, appreciate the opportunity to interact with our health care team and ask questions. In addition, counseling and educational support are provided. For the community, this program is a haven for a few hours every week.
Thank you for giving children the opportunity to learn and play.
