We are pleased to report significant progress in advancing the Safe Housing Support for 200 LGBTQIA+ Children project. A major milestone was achieved when the project was selected as Project of the Month, resulting in the award of a $1,000 grant. This recognition highlights the importance and impact of the initiative while providing crucial financial support toward our fundraising goal.
The grant represents 8.3% of the project's $12,000 funding target and has strengthened our capacity to begin essential preparatory activities, including shelter planning, beneficiary identification, and coordination with support service providers. While the project still requires $11,000 to reach full funding, this early investment demonstrates growing confidence in our mission and serves as a catalyst for attracting additional donors and partners.
We remain committed to securing the remaining resources needed to provide safe accommodation, psychosocial support, healthcare access, education reintegration, and vocational opportunities for 200 vulnerable children. Continued support will enable us to expand these life-saving interventions and ensure that no child is left without protection, dignity, and hope for a brighter future.
