Dear Donors,
Greetings from El Shaddai Charitable Trust. We are grateful to share an update on our project, “Rescue and Empower Trafficked Children in Mumbai.” Your support continues to bring hope and protection to children who are at risk of exploitation and abuse.
Child trafficking remains a serious concern in India, where many children go missing everyday. Some are forcibly taken from their homes, while others are deceived with false promises of employment and a better future. Sadly, many of these children end up trapped in situations involving forced labour, begging, or sexual exploitation.
Limited access to education, poverty, and low literacy levels make children especially vulnerable to trafficking and abuse.
Through the Rena Project, El Shaddai works to protect and support children living in and around red-light areas. We provide safe homes, educational opportunities, outreach programs, counselling, and life skills training to help children move away from harmful environments and build brighter futures.
Children rescued through our programs receive shelter, nutritious meals, healthcare, emotional support, and access to quality education. We also focus on helping them develop confidence, independence, and practical skills that prepare them for a secure and dignified life.
Our goal is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to grow in safety, pursue education, and live free from exploitation.
We sincerely thank you for standing with us in this mission. Your generosity and compassion are transforming lives and giving vulnerable children a chance for a better tomorrow.
With heartfelt gratitude,
El Shaddai Charitable Trust.
