Joy baby care project has continued to impress Kabiria community. Kids are dropped and picked up in the evening. It is much safer at Joy Baby Care than at home since most of them are unattended to when their single mothers are away in search of food.
Dr. Alfred has continued to visit our kids for medical checkups .He gives helpful advices to mothers. Something we have seen lead to a reduced rate of sickness hence unnecessary use of mediation among our kids.
Mercy, Jane’s mother said, “Since I started covering my child properly in warm clothes, I hardly see my child with running nurse. I am happy that my child is free from day to day medication”.
Our care givers have continued to accrue skills and knowledge for effective growth and development of our kids; Lillian Just came back from United Kingdom, where she had been invited by Andria. She visited and learnt from some child care projects and schools.
We were privileged to host Eleanor Harrisons ,the C.E.O Global giving-UK last year in December. She left us with insights on how to make our project a suitable pre-learning environment. We have had pictures, letters of the alphabet and numbers drawn on the walls.
We are thankful to your continuous support.
