Rohingya Interventions, Updated Figures Octobe '19

Friendship for the Rohingya
Friendship Rohingya Crisis Response Updated Figures
Friendship has been operating at the Rohingya Camps providing aid and relief with various interventions since October 2017. Working in cooperation with state bodies and other non-governmental organizations, the scope, reach and variety of these interventions have been continually expanding since the start of operations, and will continue to provide support for as long as needed till the crisis is resolved.
As of October 2019, the cumulative totals of the primary interventions are listed below:
Completed:
- Solar panels installed: 93
- Solar street lamps: 190
- Distribution of individual solar lanterns: 704
- Distribution of solar maintenance kits: 20
- Development of green energy entrepreneurs: 10
- Maternity centres (birthing and comprehensive): 2
- Basic clinics constructed: 13
- Satellite clinics constructed: 24
- m-Health: 32
- Hygiene kit distribution: 12,451
- WASH infrastructure (tube wells, latrines, bathing spaces): 512
- Water quality monitoring: 676
- Installation of hand-washing devices: 186
- Hygiene promotion mass awareness campaigns: 1,516
- Maintenance and upgrade of small-scale drainage systems: 104
- Construction of faecal sludge management plant: 6
- Installation of garbage pits: 126
- Temporary Learning Centres: 12
- Cluster-Based Learning Centres: 52
- Bamboo bridges constructed: 5
- Dignity billboards installed: 30
- Training on fire safety and plantation: 2,800
- Tree plantation: 5,340
In addition, there are a number of mostly green energy projects have been planned and are now in the implementation phase.

- Deep tube well repair and maintenance: 43
- Repair and maintenance of WASH installations: 231/258
- Installation of biogas plant: 3/4
- Construction of drainage systems: 40/43
