We Did It!... We Achieved Our Goal!... Thank You!

By Otto Starzmann | Program Manager

Dear Friends,

Please accept our heartfelt gratitude for helping us to achieve our funding goal for our “Beyond Poverty—Spring Drive.” As you know, our target for this campaign was $20,000, and with your help, we succeeded in raising more than $22,000.

Apart from hitting our target, we also achieved third place in Global Giving’s fundraising challenge from among some 159 organizations worldwide. This allowed us to earn a bonus of $1,000 at the close of the contest. Thank you for helping us to achieve that as well.

By the close of the challenge we also achieved over 2,000 Facebook shares! Not bad for a tiny organization like ours! Thanks to all of you social networkers who helped us in that area.

Now that our Spring Drive is funded, this project will be closed by Global Giving.

The funds we received through this campaign will result in almost half a million dollars worth of product being supplied to the communities we serve. This is truly an impressive result for just 30 days of fundraising.

Please stay tuned for updates as we prepare our next fundraising drive.

Thank you all once again. Together we DO make a difference!
